Afghanistan, March 16 -- Flights at Dubai International Airport were temporarily suspended after a drone struck a fuel storage tank near the airport, triggering a fire, officials in United Arab Emirates said.
The Government of Dubai Media Office said the blaze caused by the drone impact near the airport was later brought under control.
Authorities confirmed that no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident despite the fire and temporary disruption to airport operations.
Officials said all flights were briefly halted as a precaution while emergency teams responded to the situation and secured the affected area.
