Afghanistan, Aug. 13 -- The European Union has contributed €10 million to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund to support life-saving assistance for people in need, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said Thursday.
OCHA said in a post on X that it welcomed the contribution and thanked the European Union for supporting the delivery of humanitarian services to vulnerable people in Afghanistan.
The UN office said the funding would help humanitarian organizations continue providing life-saving assistance to millions of people across the country.
