Afghanistan, May 24 -- The England and Wales Cricket Board said members of the Afghanistan women refugee cricket team will travel to United Kingdom next month to participate in T20 matches and international cricket events.
According to the ECB, 20 members of the team will begin their trip to England on June 22 in what will be the first official overseas tour for the exiled Afghanistan women's side.
The team is expected to take part in T20 competitions and attend events linked to the Women's T20 World Cup finals being hosted in England, as well as activities surrounding an International Cricket Council meeting in Edinburgh.
