Afghanistan, July 10 -- At least 12 people have died in a massive wildfire in Spain's southern province of Almeria, where more than 150 firefighters, supported by aircraft and emergency crews, continued battling the blaze on Friday as authorities struggled to contain one of the deadliest forest fires in the region's history.
According to Reuters, emergency officials in Spain's autonomous region of Andalusia described the Almeria wildfire as the deadliest forest fire ever recorded in the region.
