Afghanistan, Oct. 7 -- Taliban Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Attaullah Omari has travelled to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, to attend a global technical forum on food security and sustainable development for landlocked developing countries, officials said Wednesday.
Omari is scheduled to participate in the Global Technical Forum of Landlocked Developing Countries on Food Security and the Sustainable Development Goals, being held in Tashkent on October 7-8. The forum is jointly organized by Uzbekistan's Ministry of Agriculture and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
