Afghanistan, March 26 -- An Ariana Afghan Airlines plane flying from Herat to Kabul veered off the runway after landing at Kabul airport on Wednesday evening, the airline said, adding that no one was injured.

Ariana said all passengers and crew were safely evacuated and transferred to the terminal after the incident. The airline said the aircraft departed Herat at 5 p.m. and made what it described as an emergency landing in Kabul at around 6:10 p.m.

Witnesses told local media the plane tilted toward its right wing while landing before coming to a stop on ground beside the runway.
