Afghanistan, April 7 -- Afghanistan's under-17 national football team face Turkmenistan on Tuesday in their second match of the CAFA U-17 Championship, with the side looking to revive its campaign after an opening defeat.
The regional tournament is being held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and features five Central Asian teams in a round-robin format.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 4:30 p.m. Kabul time, and carries added importance for Afghanistan after losing their first game to Kyrgyzstan. Another setback would leave the team under greater pressure heading into its remaining fixtures against stronger regional opponents.
Turkmenistan will also be seeking a valuable result as both teams try to strengthen their position in the standings....
