Afghanistan, March 29 -- Afghanistan and Uzbekistan private sector representatives have signed agreements worth over $514 million, underscoring growing trade and investment ties between the neighbors.

The Taliban's Ministry of Industry and Commerce says private sector representatives from Afghanistan and Uzbekistan have signed cooperation agreements valued at more than $514 million, marking another step in expanding bilateral economic relations.

According to a ministry statement issued on Saturday, the agreements were signed in the presence of Taliban Commerce Minister Nooruddin Azizi and Shavkat Abdurazaqov, the governor of Namangan region in Uzbekistan.
