Afghanistan, June 29 -- Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan have signed trade and investment agreements worth more than $350 million during their first joint business forum in Bishkek, the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment said.
According to the chamber, the agreements were signed in the presence of government officials and private sector representatives from both countries. The largest project is a $300 million investment to build a cement factory in Kyrgyzstan.
The two sides also agreed to establish a joint chamber of commerce aimed at expanding trade, investment and broader economic cooperation.
