Afghanistan, Sept. 15 -- An 18-year-old Afghan asylum seeker has admitted murdering a fellow Afghan man in central London after travelling from northern England and waiting outside the victim's home with a knife, British police and court records show.

Sulaiman Tajzai pleaded guilty to the murder of 26-year-old Farmanullah Shirzad at the Old Bailey on Friday, the Metropolitan Police said. Tajzai also admitted possessing a bladed weapon. He is due to be sentenced on September 18.
