Afghanistan, June 22 -- Around 2.3 million students retook India's national medical entrance examination on Sunday under the tightest security measures in the test's history after the original exam was canceled over allegations of question-paper leaks.
Authorities deployed police and paramilitary forces at 5,440 examination centers nationwide, while candidates underwent biometric verification, body searches and extensive security screening. Indian media reported that drones, surveillance systems and electronic signal-jamming devices were also used to prevent cheating.
