Srinagar, April 13 -- Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar, Dr. Sandeep Chakravarthy, on Monday launched a 100-day strategic action programme under the 'Nasha Mukta Bharat Abhiyan', describing it as a national mission rather than a mere project. He asserted a zero-tolerance policy against drugs.
Speaking at Amar Singh College, the SSP, as per Kashmir News Service (KNS), said the campaign, envisioned by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, aims to dismantle the entire drug ecosystem in the valley. "J&K Police have full clarity. We have a zero-tolerance policy against drugs," Dr. Chakravarthy said.
He said the 100-day drive is not just an awareness campaign but a strategic action plan involving both civil departments and the police....
