Baramulla, April 25 -- Jammu and Kashmir Education Minister Sakina Itoo on Saturday condemned the use of abusive language on social media against women, saying it reflected the "failure" and "weakness" of those indulging in it.

Addressing a gathering at the Government Degree College for Women in Baramulla, minsiter Itoo as per news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) said while she was open to discussion and criticism, foul language on platforms like Facebook was unacceptable.

"If you want to have a discussion, you can do it with me. You can discuss it with the MLAs for the government. You can discuss with the director," she said.
