Srinagar, May 9 -- The Directorate of Colleges, Higher Education Department, Jammu and Kashmir, on Saturday commenced online registrations for the 2026-27 academic session for four-year undergraduate (FYUGP) and five-year integrated postgraduate programmes across all 142 government degree colleges in the Union Territory.

Officials said the centralised admission portal - jkadmissions.in - was activated at 11 am. Students can register and submit their college and programme preferences until 7 pm on May 27.

Admissions to more than 60 major subjects will be based strictly on Class 10+2 merit, they added.
