Baramulla, May 13 -- Former President of Municipal Council Baramulla and Chairman of Global Youth Foundation, Touseef Raina, on Wednesday voiced deep concern over the extensive damage caused by a severe hailstorm in the Kandi belt of Baramulla district, urging the administration to provide immediate relief to affected farmers.

The hailstorm, which struck the region on Tuesday, inflicted widespread destruction on crops and orchards across several villages, leaving the farming community in distress, Raina said in a statement.
