Srinagar, May 3 -- Jammu and Kashmir Minister Satish Sharma on Sunday said tourist inflow to the Union Territory is rising steadily and asserted that the "era of fear" has ended, calling for visitors to be treated well.
Referring to the newly operational train service between Jammu and Srinagar, Sharma said its capacity has increased significantly, with up to 3,000 passengers arriving daily.
"The train has started from Jammu. Earlier the capacity was 500, now it is 1,500. It is running twice, bringing around 3,000 people daily. It is packed. Tourists are not going to stop," he said.
