Three chargesheeted in Rs 23 lakh fake government jobs scam in J&K
Jammu, July 26 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Jul 26 (KNS): The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Crime Branch, Jammu and Kashmir, has filed a chargesheet against three persons in connection with an alleged fake government recruitment racket in which job seekers were duped of ?23 lakh on the false promise of securing government jobs, officials said on Sunday. The chargesheet was filed before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Srinagar, in FIR No. 01/2026 under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC), they said.
