Jammu, Sept. 1 -- Share Tweet Share New Delhi, September 1 (KNS):The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) on Tuesday withdrew its proposed September 5 demonstration in the national capital after the Centre assured the Supreme Court that criminal proceedings arising from the July 20 protest would not be pursued. The decision followed the Supreme Court's acceptance of the government's undertaking and its direction that FIRs registered in connection with the student demonstrations between July 20 and 25 be quashed.
