Srinagar, May 18 -- The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar, Dr. G. V. Sundeep Chakravarthy (IPS), has approved time-bound promotions for 68 police personnel serving across different units of District Police Srinagar, officials said on Monday.

The promotions have been granted under service rules after a detailed review of service records, performance, and eligibility criteria, they said.

According to the promotion order, 36 Constables and 32 Followers, who have completed the requisite years of unblemished service, have been promoted.
