Pahalgam, April 21 -- Amid heightened security preparedness for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, SSP Anantnag Amod Ashok Nagpure (IPS) on Tuesday visited Pahalgam to conduct an on-ground assessment of the yatra route and safety measures for tourists.

During the visit, the senior superintendent of police inspected key points along the route, held interactions with duty officers, and stressed the need for seamless movement and secure facilities for pilgrims and visitors. He issued directives to strengthen inter-agency coordination, enhance surveillance, and maintain a people-friendly approach in regulating tourist flow.
