Jammu, June 4 -- Share Tweet Share Sopore, Jun 4 (KNS) : Continuing its crackdown on the narcotics trade under the 'Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyaan', Sopore Police on Thursday attached immovable property worth ?22,49,046 belonging to a notorious drug peddler identified as Suhail Ahmad Zargar alias Lala, son of Bashir Ahmad Zargar, a resident of Behrampora, Rafiabad. The action was taken under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985, officials said. During investigation and financial scrutiny, police established that the attached property was acquired through proceeds generated from illicit drug trafficking.
