Jammu, Sept. 17 -- Share Tweet Share Sopore, Sep 17 (KNS): Police have apprehended a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession in the jurisdiction of Police Post Watergam here, officials said on Thursday. During naka checking at Malgonipora, a suspicious individual was intercepted and contraband substance was recovered from his possession, they said. The accused has been identified as Zakir Rashid Lone, son of Abdul Rashid Lone, a resident of Wadoora, Sopore. An FIR No. 88/2026 under Sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Dangiwacha and further investigation has been taken up to ascertain the source and wider linkages involved, the officials said.
