Snowfall shuts Gurez road; 38 vehicles rescued
Bandipora, April 4 -- The Bandipora-Gurez road in north Kashmir remained closed on Saturday following heavy snowfall, even as authorities rescued 38 stranded vehicles during a night-long operation, officials said. An official told news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS), the operation was carried out by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) after multiple vehicles were trapped near Razdan Pass due to fresh snow accumulation, he said.
