Government High School Vewan in north Kashmir's Bandipora district is grappling with an acute shortage of teaching staff, severely affecting the academic environment and raising serious concerns among locals.
According to available details, the school has a total enrollment of 67 students but is being managed by only five teachers, all appointed under the ReT (Rehbar-e-Taleem) scheme. Shockingly, since its upgradation to a high school in 2019, the institution has been functioning without a Headmaster or any Master, leaving administrative and academic supervision in disarray.
