Sajad Lone questions restriction on MLAs' right to ask questions in J&K Assembly
Jammu, Aug. 12 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Aug 12 (KNS): Peoples Conference President and MLA Handwara Sajad Lone on Wednesday raised strong objection to the restriction imposed by the Assembly Secretariat on the number of questions MLAs can submit during the upcoming session, calling it a "bad precedent" that undermines legislative oversight. MLA Handwara, in a post on X, pointed out that the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly permit each member to submit ten questions during a non-budget session-five starred and five unstarred.
