Jammu, July 8 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Jul 8 (KNS): Former District Development Council (DDC) chairperson of Baramulla, Safina Baig, joined the ruling National Conference (NC) on Wednesday, giving the party a political boost in north Kashmir. Safina, wife of former deputy chief minister and PDP co-founder Muzaffar Hussain Baig, was inducted into the party at the NC headquarters here in the presence of party president Dr Farooq Abdullah, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and several senior leaders.
