Jammu, Aug. 12 -- Share Tweet Share Langate Aug 12 (KNS): Former Sarpanch Nayeem-u-Rehman, on behalf of the residents of Nowgam and adjoining areas in Langate constituency, has thanked MLA Sheikh Khursheed for sanctioning a bridge worth Rs 28 crore. The project addresses a long-pending demand of the local population. The existing bridge could only support light motor vehicles. As a result, heavy vehicles were unable to enter the area. Construction materials such as bricks, bajri and sand had to be unloaded near the bridge and carried manually to homes, causing considerable hardship.
