Jammu, Aug. 21 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Aug 21(KNS): Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Mohammad Umar Farooq on Friday alleged that restrictions on the historic Jama Masjid and attempts to silence its pulpit appeared to be part of the state policy, as he addressed the Friday congregation here after nearly two weeks. In a statement, issued to KNS, Mirwaiz said he had been prevented from delivering the Friday sermon at the Jama Masjid and was also denied the opportunity to address the gathering of Khwaja Digar at Naqshband Sahib.
