Kulgam, April 20 -- Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athwale on Monday accused the regional parties of collectively failing the people of Gudar village in Kulgam, and asserted that the Modi government will step in to deliver justice where others have not.
"One village is on that side, one village is on this side. To connect them, a bridge is needed," the Union minister said while addressing a public gathering on the riverbed.
Taking direct aim at the erstwhile regimes, Athwale said, "Omar Abdullah's government had to pay attention to this. But in all these years, his government was there many times. Farooq Abdullah's government was there. PDP's government was there. Yet these people have not got justice....
