Rain lashes parts of J&K, MeT forecasts more rain
Jammu, Sept. 1 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, September 1(KNS): Rain lashed several parts of Jammu and Kashmir over the past 24 hours, with Kathua recording the highest rainfall of 73 mm, the Meteorological Centre Srinagar said on Tuesday. According to the weather department, Katra received 62 mm of rain, while Poonch and Udhampur recorded 38.5 mm and 27 mm, respectively, during the period. The MeT office forecast generally cloudy weather across J&K on September 1 and 2, with one or two spells of light to moderate rain or thundershowers at many places.
