Jammu, Sept. 18 -- Share Tweet Share Baramulla Sep 18 (KNS)- Senior PDP leader and former trade unionist Mohd Rafique Rather has been elected as the party's District President for Baramulla. Rather was elected unanimously by delegates representing all seven constituencies of the district at a meeting held at Dak Bungalow here, party said in a statement. A former President of the Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC), Rather joined the PDP in 2022 after quitting his government job to enter active politics. He is also an educationist and writer.
