Anantnag, April 8 -- On his first day in Anantnag after his posting from Udhampur, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Amod Ashok Nagpure addressed the media and outlined his priorities for the district, focusing on public cooperation and action against drugs.

The SSP said that strengthening the fight against drugs will be a primary focus. He stated that drug abuse is affecting the community and called on people to support the police in making Anantnag a drug-free district.

"I appeal to the people of Anantnag to support us in the fight against drugs. This will be our main priority," he said as per KNS.
