Srinagar, May 17 -- Professor Sheikh Ajaz Bashir, Director of Colleges, Jammu & Kashmir, has assumed charge as the Dean of Academic Affairs at the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), officials said.

Prof. Bashir, who was recently deputed to IUST as a Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering, brings over three and a half decades of experience in academic administration, policy formulation, and institutional development.
