Srinagar, April 18 -- Faz Lul Haseeb, IAS, Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) and Principal Census Officer (Urban) Srinagar, today chaired a high-level review meeting to assess preparedness for the forthcoming Census 2027. The meeting was held at the Municipal Central Office, Karan Nagar, Srinagar.

All district officers participated in the meeting, wherein a comprehensive review of preparedness was undertaken. The discussions primarily focused on strengthening inter-departmental coordination and ensuring timely deployment of employees for Census operations.
