Jammu, Sept. 3 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Sep 3 (KNS): Police in Jammu and Kashmir have attached two buildings, six shops, and two kanals of land belonging to the proscribed Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) in Sopore, officials said on Thursday. The action was taken under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act following an investigation into a case registered at Police Station Sopore, they said. "FIR No. 42/2025 was lodged under Sections 10 and 13 of the UA(P) Act. During the probe, the properties were found linked to the banned organisation," a police spokesperson told KNS.
