Srinagar, April 20 -- Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (JKPDP) on Monday restricted its media engagement to a select list of 14 spokespersons, warning that any unauthorised interaction with the press would be treated as a violation of party protocols.
Party chief spokesperson Dr. Mehboob Beg told news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) only officially designated spokespersons and additional spokespersons have been permitted to give interviews, participate in debates, or issue reactions to media outlets. He said the step was taken to ensure "consistency, accuracy, and accountability" in public communications.
