Ramban, April 15 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday accused Pakistan of orchestrating drug smuggling into Jammu and Kashmir for decades to fund terrorism and systematically destroy the younger generation.

"For decades, Pakistan has orchestrated drug smuggling into Jammu and Kashmir to fund terrorism and destroy our young generation," Sinha said while addressing a public meeting after leading a 'padyatra' in Ramban district as part of the 'Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyaan' as per news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS).

The Lt Governor said the drug menace is not merely a law and order issue but a cross-border conspiracy.
