Jammu, Sept. 14 -- Share Tweet Share Birmingham, September 14 (KNS): Pakistan have been hit with a double penalty for maintaining a slow over-rate during the final Test against England at Edgbaston, with the team losing 11 points in the ongoing World Test Championship cycle and players fined 50 per cent of their match fees. Pakistan, who lost the Test by eight wickets to complete a 3-0 series defeat, bowled 89 overs in their first innings and were found to be 11 overs short of the required rate after time allowances were taken into account. Under Article 16.11.2 of the ICC World Test Championship playing conditions, a team is penalised one point for every over it falls short.
