Srinagar, April 30 -- The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Wednesday ordered a major reshuffle of the bureaucracy, transferring and posting over 170 Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officers across departments with immediate effect.

According to Government Order No. 855-JK(GAD) of 2026 issued by the General Administration Department, the changes were carried out in the interest of administration to strengthen governance and improve efficiency.
