Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Leader of Opposition (LoP) Sunil Sharma on Monday accused Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah over a social media post, demanding an apology and accusing him of insulting democracy and the people's mandate.

"The way a particular word has been used, it is an insult to democracy. In any election, whichever party wins, we congratulate that party. It is the people's mandate. Who am I to call people 'bloody hell'?" Sharma told news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS).
