Jammu, June 29 -- Share Tweet Share Baramulla, June 29 (KNS): Police in north Kashmir's Baramulla have registered a First Information Report (FIR) and launched an investigation against unidentified individuals for spreading malicious and baseless rumours on social media, which claimed that terrorists had attacked a police station and opened fire on government offices in the town. The rumours also falsely suggested that the Chief Minister had proposed the cancellation of the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra. Police have categorically denied these claims, stating that no such attack or firing incident has taken place anywhere in the district.
