New Delhi, April 22 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday attached multiple properties of a Jaish-e-Mohammed operative in connection with the 2017 fidayeen attack on a CRPF camp in Jammu and Kashmir that left five personnel dead.
The action was taken under provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act following orders of a special NIA court in Jammu, officials said.
The attached properties include land parcels and residential premises located in Lethpora area of Awantipora in south Kashmir's Pulwama district. The agency said the assets belonged to Fayaz Ahmad Magray, an accused in the case, and were identified as proceeds of terrorism.
