New Delhi, May 29 -- The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday extended till June 22 the deadline for NEET-UG 2026 candidates to submit bank account details for fee refund, even as over 13 lakh aspirants have already updated their information on the portal.

The development comes after the agency cancelled the original examination held on May 3 following allegations of a paper leak. The fresh test is scheduled for June 21, for which no fee will be charged from any candidate.

In a notice shared on X, the NTA said the facility for submission of bank account details, which was available from May 22 to May 26, has been extended to June 22 (up to 11:50 PM) to facilitate those yet to complete the process.
