Srinagar, June 3 -- National Conference legislator from Baramulla, Javid Hassan Baigh, on Wednesday asserted that chief minister Omar Abdullah-led government is not meant for a mere five-year term but is poised to remain in power for the next 25 years, dismissing Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma's claims that the dispensation was a "sinking ship".

Dismissing Sharma's remarks that the government would fall soon, MLA Baigh said the opposition was living in a "delusion" and accused them of being disconnected from political reality.

"Let him dream. Let him dream. He is alive only on that," the MLA told reporters as per KNS.
