Jammu, Aug. 7 -- Share Tweet Share Leh, Aug 7 (KNS): National Handloom Day was celebrated with a Tiranga rally and distribution of weaving equipment to local artisans at Lukung village in the Changthang region of Ladakh on Friday, with officials highlighting the need to preserve traditional handloom practices while improving their market potential. The event, organised by the District Administration Changthang in collaboration with the Department of Handlooms and Handicrafts, Leh, was held at Lukung on the banks of Pangong Lake, over 14,000 feet above sea level.
