Srinagar, May 18 -- Former Deputy Chief Minister Muzaffar Hussain Beigh and former District Development Council (DDC) Chairperson Safina Beigh on Monday expressed profound grief over the death of Haji Khazir Mohammad Sheikh, the father of Member of Parliament Engineer Rashid.

In a statement issued to KNS, the two leaders conveyed their solidarity with the bereaved family, terming the loss as "irreparable."

They prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the departed soul a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give strength to the family members to bear this difficult time. (KNS)
