Jammu, June 11 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Jun 11 (KNS): Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Thursday welcomed the Delhi High Court's decision to grant bail to human rights activist Khurram Parvez and hoped that all political prisoners and detainees awaiting legal resolution would also get relief. In a post on X, the Mirwaiz said the bail granted to Parvez after years of incarceration was a "very welcome development" and acknowledged the suffering endured by him and his family during the period. The Mirwaiz said the practice of re-arresting individuals in other cases after they secure bail defeats the purpose of justice.
