Srinagar, June 1 -- Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr. Moulvi Mohammad Umar Farooq, has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of the wife of late Moulvi Waiz Asadullah Shah of Rawalpora, a respected member and a relation of the Mirwaiz family.

Paying tribute to the deceased, the Mirwaiz described her as a pious and God-fearing woman. He visited Rawalpora to offer condolences to the bereaved family, specially with Mr. Saeed Mohammad Shah and Dr. Mohammad Rafi Jan, and prayed for her maghfirah and eternal abode in Jannat-ul-Firdous.
