Jammu, July 15 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, Jul 15 (KNS): Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Wednesday expressed deep anguish over the loss of civilian and police lives in the ongoing unrest across the Line of Control (LoC), and urged the Government of Pakistan, local authorities and protesters to resolve differences through dialogue and restore peace. In a post on X, the Mirwaiz said he was "deeply saddened and pained" by reports of deaths in the continuing unrest, particularly in Rawalakot and Poonch.
