Jammu, Aug. 16 -- Share Tweet Share Srinagar, August 16 (KNS); Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid Srinagar has announced that, as per tradition, Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq will, deliver a sermon at the revered Shrine of Hazrat Khawaja Naqshband Sahib (RA), Khawaja Bazar, Nowhatta on the auspicious occasion of Khawaja Digar on Monday, 3rd Rabi' al-Awwal, corresponding to 17th August 2026, Insha'Allah. The sermon will be delivered from 4:00 pm followed by congregational Asr prayers at 5:30 pm at the historic Astaani Aaliya. The Anjuman has urged devotees to participate in large numbers in this blessed gathering, continuing the centguries-old legacy of the Mirwaizeen of Kashmir.
